Terms & Conditions

  • Payment - Payment is to be taken through PayPal or Bank Transfer

Special Events (Christmas/ Mothers Day/ Valentines etc) Special event orders will require full payment. If your event order is over £50, a deposit can be taken with the remaining balance due a week before your collection. I do not accept cash on collection for events

Bespoke Orders - New Customers If you are placing an order £50+, a deposit will be required to secure your order (around 50%). Remaining payment is then due the day before collection. This is to build trust, in the past, unfortunately I have had non collections and therefore beef left out of pocket. Orders under £50 will require full payment

Bespoke Orders - Returning Customers Again, orders £50+ will be required to pay a deposit (around 50%). Remaining balance can be made online again, on the day of collection through PayPal or bank transfer. Please make sure remaining balances are settled before collection, just so I can confirm it has come through on my end before handover Cakes will not be handed over until full payment has been made. /if someone is collecting on your behalf, please make sure this is settled before you/they arrive

  • Collections - As I am a home bakery, I am not open for collections all hours of the day. Usual times are 09:30 - 11:00 morning and 16:00 - 19:00 early evening. For special events such as Christmas/Mothers Day/ Easter etc, these hours may change but will be advertised   I ask that collections are only carried out during these times. I may send a friendly reminder if it is getting close to the end of your collection time, but it is your responsibility to remember when to collect your order. If you collect outside of these hours, I can not guarantee that someone will be available to handover your order and may result in a next day collection

  • Damage - Cakes and cake decorations can be very delicate items, I can not be held liable to any damage to your order once it has have left my premises. This includes circumstances out of my control such as weather, temperature of the venue, reckless driving once handed over, incorrect storage of the order etc

  • Use By Date - As my products are made with fresh ingredients, they do not have the extended shelf life of most supermarkets bakes. All products are baked to order to ensure it is fresh for your celebration. I can not guarantee the quality of your order if consumed after the use by date as stated on the box. All bakes are at there best when consumed as close as possible to collection day. I always recommend that if you can, arrange collection on the day of the event and the date it will be consumed

  • Storage - Details on how to store your order will be advised on collection day. In most cases, larger cakes will need to be kept refrigerated until around half an hour- an hour before serving just to soften the sponge. Especially during warmer months in the summer. I can not be held responsible to any damage to the cake if you have not followed instructions on how to store it correctly

  • Allergies and Special Dietary Requirements - I am NOT an allergy free kitchen and can not guarantee there will be no traces in any of my bakes. All of my products contain Wheat, dairy, eggs and so on. Ingredients such as nuts can be removed from bakes. But they are still used in my kitchen alongside with other allergens. I highly recommend that if you do have a severe allergy to any allergens that you do not order from us

  • Design - It is the responsibility of the customer to thoroughly read and check details of the design (including spelling of names/dates etc) I will always try to match the cake as close as I can, especially with colours. But as colours appear different on certain types of screens (such as a mobile phone screen compared to a computer screen) it may not always be identical

Alterations - I can understand that booking a cake months in advance, things change. Especially when a child decides they have a different favourite character! Alterations can be made 7 days before your collection date. Unfortunately this may incur a cost depending on the design change and if anything has already been purchased/made for the original cake

  • Non- Edible Items - Many products will contain a few non edible items that will need to be removed before serving. Such as, but not limited to; support dowels, cocktails sticks, card toppers, ribbon etc. You will be advised about the placement of such items on collection day, but it is your responsibility (as the person ordering) to ensure these items are removed by yourself/caterer/guests before consumption

Edible Prints - Due to the price increase of edible prints (and price of postage) I have stopped supplying edible prints. An A4 sheet now cost £14+ posted and just seems an unnecessary cost to your order. Non edible prints look just as good, they just need to be removed before serving and is a cheaper option for your order
